I love letters. There is something quite magical about receiving a handwritten letter in the post; an email isn’t the same, is it. Equally, I love writing letters, only there doesn’t really seem to be the call for it these days. Back in April, I came across, purely by chance, a new small press that was open to submissions of letters for either an anthology or themed magazine. The letters could be about absolutely anything. Of course, I thought I would try my hand at this…
The first issue of Kith magazine by 308 Press was released this week. There are twenty or so letters, penned by writers from all over the world, including my own offering, A Letter From A Troubled Soul. Each one is unique in voice and style, and I was amazed at the variety on offer.
So, if you are looking for something different to read, why not take a look. It can be read for free here, or a print copy can be purchased here. The print copies have a hand-painted front cover, each one slightly different to the rest – they look beautiful.
Enjoy, and have a great Midsummer weekend!
