A Month of Mini Writing Challenges – Days 1-10: The Links

A Month of Mini Writing Challenges

There have been some amazing responses to the first ten days of mini writing challenges.  Here are the links to the stories that have been posted so far.  If I have missed any off, get in touch and I will add it to the list.

Also, don’t worry if you are late to the challenge, I will still add your link to this post once you have written your response as long as you have published it during September.  That means there is still plenty of time to join in!

Day 1 – Write a story in 25 words or less about a place you would like to visit but have never been.

Day 2 – Write a story in 50 words set in the past that plays on words.

Day 3 – Write a poem in less than 10 lines about “autumn”.

Day 4 – The prompt is “phonecall”.  The format and length is your choice.

Day 5 – Write a 50 word story inspired by a fairy tale.

Day 6 – Write a poem inspired by the sea.  Any length.

Day 7 – Write a 25 word story about a method of divination.

Day 8 – Write a story in less than 100 words (a drabble) using the opening line: “I don’t believe you.”

Day 9 – Write a haiku inspired by the theme “night”.

Day 10 – Write a story in less than 30 words that includes the words: disaster, potential and misgivings.
