‘Life won’t always be like this,’ he whispered, holding her hand.  ‘Who knows, tomorrow might be better…’

‘Can’t be worse than today.’

‘Then it’s only up from here, isn’t it?’

30 words was a challenge for this one.  I wrote about half a dozen stories before settling on this little snippet as the others were all closer to the 50 word mark – so look out for them in the future 🙂
