This Midsummer Night

A couple of verses of something I’ve been working on…Wishing Solstice Blessings to All πŸ™‚

Night fires bright

Beacons and bonfires light

Up the hills tonight

Dancing snakes of torchlight

This Midsummer Night

Singing and chanting

Blessings be granting

Smiles true and enchanting

Fae spells be casting

This Midsummer Night

  1. Hey Sammi, good morning,

How ya doing? Are you enjoying the weekend so far?

A flying visit only. Thoroughly enjoyed the rhythm of your poem and the tune that runs through it. It sounds wonderful when read out aloud. I liked the breaks and repetition of ‘this midsummers day’ – it creates real emphasis.

Thanks for sharing Sammi. The poem is a little gem to start the day.

    Take care

    • Hey Dewin, good evening πŸ™‚

I’m fine, thanks. I hope you are well and having a good week so far? Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a encouraging comment πŸ™‚ So glad you enjoyed the poem. I’ve not read it aloud so I will have to give it a go to see what it sounds like πŸ™‚

      Brightest Blessings πŸ™‚
