Pingback: Weekend Writing Prompt #32 – Reflection of Life Poem – Ramblings of a Writer
Thanks for an interesting prompt. My post – https://ramblingsofawriter2016.com/2017/12/10/weekend-writing-prompt-32-reflection-of-life-poem/

Hey Sammi C, Namaste 🙂 How ya doing?
Another excellent challenge this week to get the ju-ju juices blending nicely together. Reflection is a title to take one’s mind anywhere and everywhere even to Infinity and beyond. 🙂
I couldn’t be contained by the requirement to write an acrostic, not on this first visit: it was far to rigid and self-disciplined an ask for when I got here this evening, and so I left this bridging piece instead with an assured intention to return to write Part 2 later. Is that okay? I might then have a go at the acrostic 🙂
~ Reflections ~ By ~ Dewin Nefol ~
From light-years distant travelling far,
Came the force of Love from a Super Nova
I felt the quake of Her exploding Star, and
Now my thoughts are in Miramar, where
I’m Top Ink Gun flying a feathered-fighter,
Turning tricks creating pics, pursuing flighty perfection,
Yet now waiting about with nervous doubt
For clarity in mindful reflection…
Waiting for thick fog in the glass to clear
For the Moon to guide me in my direction.
~*~
Love and Peace. Namaste 🙂

Lovely poem, Dewin! I wonder where this feathered-fighter will be guided by the Moon to go… Love the imagery in your lines 🙂 Thanks for joining in with the Weekend Writing Prompt. Have a great weekend 🙂

Morning Sammi, Namaste 🙂
Hoping all is well as the weekend arrives and you full of good cheer 🙂
I think the feathered fighter-pilot was directed towards image making and has been posting quick prolifically of late. I’m kind of pleased with artistic progress and feel the work is improving, small advances here and there larger steps in other ways. So all good: if you want a look at this morning post on Gallybloggers (you don’t have to read the words if they upset you) here’s the URL:

Thanks for comments made on the poem above. It was destined to continue but I was distracted by a Moth temporarily and the words dug in for a while without wanting to shift ahead. In that way there is outstanding lines to be penned sometime. Perhaps over the weekend, and certainly before Xmas, I’d like to get Alkemi (art 12) finished and imagine the missing lines here will feature in whatever comes forth from that.
And so onto todays challenge. I shall be back with a response: give a little time 😉
Love and Peace. Namaste 🙂

I followed the link – beautiful image. The background colours are fantastic and remind me of the back of a tarot card. You are such a talented artist and poet 🙂
