  7. Hey Sammi C, Namaste 🙂

Hoping all is well and your Saturday went with a bang or a boom or even a big budda boom, whichever it may be I trust it left you merrily beaming and happily dreaming, dreaming a little dream of Viennese Whirls and strawberry ice-cream 🙂

I couldn’t quite muster 20 lines but have managed 10, so that’s 50% of the requirement: a fair compromise I think 🙂 I found it a real challenge being asked to start a poem with a specific word: it took a lot of effort to put aside noise and distraction and focus. I hate being so contained: it takes away the wildness! lol 🙂

I continued this poem in a modified way and extended it to 126 lines: aligning it with my Alkemi series to fashion Alkemi (Part 12)…leaving Alkemi (Part 13) as the concluding poem to be posted shortly. I tried to use my time wisely 😉

Are you submitting for your own challenge this week Sammi? If so, I’ll look forward to what you post.

Enjoy Sunday and have a wonderful week. Take care of one and all, grimalkins and the royal we included.

    ~ Time ~ By ~ Dewin Nefol ~

Time within rhyme is no time at all,
Words and their song are eternal.
Each word a portal to yet another notion:
To another dream to another emotion,
To another destination to new worlds without end,
To wishes and starry stairways upon which to ascend.
Words at their finest when elegantly penned,
Are symbols so precious on wings they transcend:
In flights of feathered fancy as would a Poet’s eternal rhyme,
Beautify bodacious words amidst prettified lines,
Immortalised upon the page until the end of time
    ~*~

    Love and Peace. Namaste 🙂
