Weekend Writing Prompt #41 – Weather

A word and photo prompt to get your creativity flowing this weekend.  Use the prompts separately or together.  It’s up to you.  Write a piece of flash fiction, a poem, a chapter for your novel…anything you like.  Or take one of the challenges below – there are no prizes – it’s not a competition but rather a fun writing exercise.  If you want to share what you come up with, please leave a link to it in the comments.

  2. Hey Sammi, Namaste 🙂

Hoping life finds you well on this soggy Saturday?

    ~ Psychotic Weather ~ By ~ Dewin Nefol ~

Rain on my pane drumming pain behind my eyes.
It’s pissing down here: like that’s a surprise!
Or should I say persistently pouring: far more elegant: yet
Prevents me venting boredom bent on despair! This room a lair!
A mind-trap in a tower now moated! Soon I’ll be diluted:
Poured bucking fizz and fluted! Supernova in a glass!
I’m popping and pacing, I’m body rocking I’m chasing
Chasing shadows creeping up these padded walls!
How long has been since it started raining?
How long has it been since my sectioning?
Why are the doctor’s all telling such lies?!
Will weather cut loose my straightjacket and ties?
Rain on my pane drumming pain behind my eyes.

    Namaste 🙂
