Write a piece of flash fiction, a poem, a chapter for your novel…anything you like. Or take one of the challenges below – there are no prizes – it’s not a competition but rather a fun writing exercise. Afternoon Sammi, Namaste, how are you upon this day? 🙂
We could talk of snow and of Russian weather
And whether it is weather to weather through a window,
Or whether it is weather to just cut loose and go –
Go a little crazzzzzy and enjoy cold weather just so!~
~
Perfect for building snow-people: those with coals for eyes,
And surprise surprise buttons of stone: a carrot for a nose!
Dressed in old clothes – a scarf from granny’s wardrobe!
How lucky I am to be a snowman: remember to cover my cold toes
~
Hoping you’re warm and cosy or otherwise out and about tobogganing about or perhaps skiing to-and- fro. Take care on your way this snowy day, take care wherever you may go.
Namaste 🙂

~ Fallen: Ivy Lace From Barking ~ By ~ Dewin Nefol ~
~
In Dagenham I’m Ivy Lace from Barking
Fallen out of grace because of Boreal disease.
A mistaken case of ‘Never-green’ if you please.
In Dagenham I’m Ivy Lace from Barking.
Chopped down in my prime a slip of a lass
A high-class Sycamore in fact: bonkers about conkers!
In Dagenham I’m Ivy Lace from Barking
Fallen out of grace because of Boreal disease.
~
Have a wonderfully snowy weekend! Stay warm!
Namaste 🙂

Hey Sammi, Namaste 🙂
Well Ivy Lace is a little crazzzzzzzzy, a little barking. And I like the word ‘bonkers’. 😀
